Easter!

So it seems as though I have had this blog for a few weeks now and all I have written is a starting paragraph. I think that I have now finally figured out how to work this and will try again I say try to post more current events in the life of Bianca Thompson. As soon as I figure out how to upload photos I plan on sharing pictures from our wedding and then a few post of what has been going on in our lives.

This picture to the side of my hubby and I fishing on Saturday afternoon. We succeeded in catching absolutely nothing. But it was a fun   day in the sun. We wore the wrong outfits for this occasion.

Yesterday was Easter Sunday. We celebrated the Resurrection of Christ with Silas' parents. Their family's tradition had  been to eat a simple meal on Easter one that was similar to that which Christ ate after he had risen. This Easter Sunday should not be remembered by the colorful eggs and the pretty dresses what be celebrated in a manner praise worthy because we have been saved.

The Easter Bunny like that of Santa Clause only come around once year. But our Risen Savior Christ is alive and is with us daily and it is he we need daily.  To often we get caught up in this world and forget the true meaning of these Holidays. Sure there is no harm in having a little fun with the Easter bunny. But God did not sent a rabbit in the world the save the world. He sent his son. We can not forget that sacrifice that God made for His children.

I wrote this in church on Sunday:

I am a Pro-Sinner
In need of Repentance
and the Living Christ.
And I am in debt to the sacrifice
that was made. Yet, in my own
Vainglorious, Lawless notion to
be Righteous, I AM DEAD.
And deserve only death
Furthermore, I have been set free
by the one who took on sin, who deserves
all Honor and all Praise.
Paid my Ransom.
And Now I walk anew.
When my Gain should be nothing.
I have been declared clean.
Oh God, How blessed are you.
I remember your wounds
have made me FREE.
The Victory is won.
